Join us for an interactive session with a Stanford trained pediatrician Dr. Monica Schwarz Josten and get all your questions answered! Dr. Schwarz will cover information that is based on scientific evidence and solid peer reviewed research. She will address common concerns about vaccine safety, side effects, link between vaccines and autism, and how opting out of vaccines is affecting us now.


About Monica Schwarz Josten, MD (Pediatrics) 
Dr. Monica Schwarz Josten is a pediatrician who specializes in general pediatrics, with special interest in promotion of health equity and education. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in biochemistry at Tulane University, her M.D. at the University of Utah, and is in general pediatrics residency at Stanford. After residency, she plans to pursue a career in primary care pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Schwarz has several published studies in addressing health disparities in this country and abroad. She is currently working with Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area to understand the impact of the wish experience on children and their families. In her time off, she loves to spend time outdoors whether that is skiing, backpacking, running, or biking.
